It's really frustrating when my cameras go offline a couple of times a month. My Tapo C200 and C325WB are two models connected in different cities. To fix the problem, I have to turn them off and on again. What's causing this? Initially, I thought it was an unstable network issue, but once the connection is restored, if I don't force a reboot by removing the power, the camera remains offline. Furthermore, my C200 has gone offline permanently and there's no way to restore it, not even by resetting it. During setup the camera isn't detected; I think the Wi-Fi card has tripped. I want to understand what's causing this and whether they're defective products. One way to partially resolve this is to add a Sonoff device to power the power outlet remotely in case of problems. It's also frustrating not to receive a notification when the camera goes offline and you don't know what's happening, a lot votes were asked to add this feature but there have been no updates. I'd like answers regarding this serious problem, as I haven't encountered these issues with competing cameras, i'm waiting for a response.

Hi, 
1. For the Tapo C200, please try the following steps:
  1) Remove the camera from the Tapo app if it is. Remove the SD card from the camera if there is one.
  2) Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset, wait for two minutes, and check its LED status. 
  3) If the LED is flashing red and green, but the camera's default SSID does not appear on your phone, tablet, or laptop, it may be that the camera has an issue. You can contact your retailer or the local support team to check if the camera is under warranty.
 

2. For the Tapo C325WB, please confirm the following information if you want to troubleshoot the offline phenomenon.
  1) What's the LED status on the camera when it's offline?
  2) When it's working, please go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, check the hardware and firmware versions, and tap the Wi-Fi icon to check the RSSI value.
  3) What's the model number of your router?
  4) Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log for further analysis.

3. Regarding the offline notification feature request, I have logged it and passed it along to the relevant team for evaluation. However, we don't have specific details on whether this feature can be added to the product or when it might be. If there are any updates on this feature request, I'll update the relevant thread soon.
