Deco X50 2.4GHz does not work when the signal is weak

 

 

I am facing several serious issues with the Deco X50 (Firmware Version 1.3):

 

 

 

1. 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Speed Problem

 

The 2.4GHz band does not provide proper speed.

 

Only when I stay very close to the Deco unit, the speed becomes somewhat normal.

 

Even then, the speed is not stable at all.

 

 

 

 

 

2. Speed Comparison with Archer C6 V4

 

Using the same ISP and same distance, the performance difference is huge:

 

 

 

Deco X50 2.4GHz speed: 500 KB/s – 2 MB/s (sometimes even lower)

 

 

 

Archer C6 V4 2.4GHz speed: around 12 MB/s (≈ 96 Mbps)

 

How is this possible with the same connection and same location?

 

Many customers may stop using the Deco series because of issues like this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Missing Feature – Daily/Monthly Data Usage per Device

 

The Archer C6 V4 shows daily and monthly traffic usage per device.

 

But Deco X50 (v1.3) does not support this very important feature.

 

I will send you a sample screenshot as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Request:

 

Please fix these issues as soon as possible.

 

Kindly inform me when you will release the next firmware update —

 

at least the expected month or timeline for the update.

  @rakib_5056802 From where did u got the 1.8.0 firmware info? Share a link please?? And yes im also having a speed issue on 2.4 GHz on Deco M4 from Pakistan. I have 100 Mbps connection.

  @David-TP I used a TP-Link Archer C24 for about two years. Currently, I am using one unit of Deco X50. When I go far away, the router loses the 2.4 GHz signal, and nothing works. Because the 2.4 GHz band was causing this type of problem, I installed the 1.3.1 build 20251122 Rel46074 beta version from this group. After installing it, I noticed that when I go far away, nothing works on 2.4 GHz.

  @David-TP No, I don’t know him.

 

With the Deco X50, the internet does not work when you go to the edge of the 2.4 GHz signal range. What is the current status of the update for this issue? You haven’t informed us whether any update will be released or not.

 

You also haven’t said anything about whether you will add an option to view customer data traffic.

 

I have already installed your beta version 1.3.1 Build 20251122 Rel.36074, but it works the same as before. Nothing has improved. When moving a little farther away, nothing works on 2.4 GHz.
