Model: Deco M4 Ā  Deco BE28 Ā
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

A present have a router modem from Sky New Zealand connected to their net work. From the Sky router I connect at present to a Tp link deco model M4R and this connects to two other wireless M4R. From the first M4R I also connect to a Netgear switch 16 port gigabit.

i am moving to another internet provider and they have sent me a tp-link deco BE28.

At present I dont use the wireless network from the sky router but do have a wireless network from the M4R.

So my question is should I just connect the new router and enable its Wi-Fi and to Connect the now three M4R and connect the other port on the BE25 to my switch via Ethernet cable.

Thank you for any assistance

  @Wellbiker

Hi, yes, you can click "+" on the top right of Deco App>"Replace Main Deco" to set Deco BE28 as the main Deco, then plug the 16-port switch to one of the Ethernet ports on the BE28:How to replace the main Deco with another Deco

Best regards.
