Hi all, I've a few Tapo cameras and door bell. Now I try and save images/videos and all goes well, but none of my cameras or doorbell will not allow me access to the memory cards. It will show detection events, but nothing saved will appear.

All firmware's are up to date, and all memory cards are formatted and working, it was working fine, but for some reason it has stopped. And I can't be bothered removing the memory cards to download the saved files.

Typically, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if you can't playback videos from an SD card.
What should I do if I experience issues when watching playback videos from an SD card?
 

Please confirm the following information about the reported phenomenon for further analysis.

 

  1. Does the phenomenon that there are video clips stored on the inserted SD card, but you can't play them in the Tapo app? If so, please send us a screenshot of the camera's Playback & Download > Playback > SD card page.

 

  2. What are the model number, hardware, and firmware version of your camera? (You can use one of your cameras as an example.)
  
  3. Please go to the Tapo app > Me > About page to check the Tapo app version.

 

  4. What is the model number and capacity of the SD card inserted into your camera?
