Hi There,

 

Ive just recently gone from a BT Broudband router to a Archer NX500 at our commerical workshop.

 

We can get the wifi and internet to work however the router isn't seeing the HIKVISION CCTV hard drive. 

 

The cctv is working perfectly on the bt router soon as I plug into the Archer router and also use the Tether app it isnt showing that there is a connection. I Can plug the computer in via ethernet and it works perfectly so i know the ethernets are mechanically "OK" 

 

I've check the ip address is within range of the specification on the Tether app. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-Did you configure a static IP address on the CCTV Hard Drive? Have you tested the DHCP IP settings?

 

It is recommended to set the HIKVISION CCTV hard drive to get an IP address automatically, then configure "Address Reservation" if you wish to have a fixed IP on the Hard Drive.
