Hello @TheSassyBear ,

Thanks for your feedback.

May I know your ISP? Is your network topology diagram as follows:

ISP modem—router )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

  @Joseph-TP the issue is the router getting and IPv6 address.  My client devices do get an address.  I have Altafiber (Cincinnati Bell)

  @Joseph-TP Hello

my Main router BE800 is no longer communicating through easymesh with my satellite BE550 PRO if I set wifi to BE mode...but even through AX mode, the performance is mediocre. I did not have any major issue before trying this "Release candidate" firmware and I really regret doing this. When will the official firmware be released and hopefully without this easymesh bug. Also I had the weather x issue but it was resolved by itself I guess.

Thank you
Soufiane

Hello @abasoufiane ,

Welcome to our community.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

Archer BE800—Archer BE550 Pro)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

What is the firmware and hardware version of your Archer BE550 Pro?

When the BE800's Wireless mode is set to BE, is the Satellite node's Wireless mode also synchronized to BE?
What error messages will appear when the EasyMesh network Backhaul fails?

Hi @TheSassyBear,

Thanks for getting back.

For your case,

We recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com  with the following information:

Subject: [Forum Escalation][ID 855734] Archer BE800-v1-1.4.1 Pre-release failed to auto access IPv6 address

Forum Nickname: TheSassyBear

Thread URL: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/855734?replyId=1674492

Model&Version: Archer BE800-v1-1.4.1 Pre-release

Description: After updating to the 1.4.1 pre-release version, only by selecting the DHCPv6 option can an IPv6 address be obtained correctly; the Auto option will prevent the correct acquisition of an IPv6 address. ISP is Altafiber (Cincinnati Bell).

Any Other Relevant Information: Please attach the configuration file on your BE800 for further investigation.

Please refer to the FAQs below to collect system logs and backup files of the router:

How to view and save System Log of TP-Link wireless router

Once sent, a ticket will be created in our support system, and a team member will follow up to gather more information or troubleshoot the case.

Hi @marto74bg  & @Bluefish91 , may I know whether weather x persists? The user mentioned that it had resolved itself.

  @Joseph-TP

Hereby confirm that weather x bug persists. It's not resolved. I believe the user reported resolving the bug is mistaken, as when you restart the router, initially it is showing some random weather data not corresponding with the real one, which never changes(never get weather updates). Once you go in router weather display settings and select your current location, or any other city in the world, then you get the weather x bug.

  @Joseph-TP

A quick question

 is there a newer build such as Firmware Version: 1.4.1 Build 20260203 Pre-release version ?

the download link points and install version 1.4.1 Build 20260130 rel.33187(4555) which seems to be a january release .

where can the Firmware Version: 1.4.1 Build 20260203 Pre-release version be downloaded ?

Best regards.

Side advise for your Amazon shop handlers ... tell them please to specify on hardware version ... if is V1 or V2 ... it is very confusing ... wanted to order be550 V2 ... amazon germany sent me V1 .

  @marto74bg Thank you for your answer and I confirm, I did not pay attention if what was displayed is correct , then went to the weather , tried to set location and yes, problem is still there. Sorry.
