Did you test for 4 Gbps download and 4 Gbps upload?

If so, can you show a screenshot the speedtest doing 3800 Mbps down and 3800 Mbps up (or more)?

Hello @mizwdev ,

When did the 6GHz speed you mentioned start to slow down? What was the actual speed? What specific devices were used to test the 6GHz speed?

If convenient, please provide screenshots of the relevant tests, including download and upload speeds.

Similarly, how was the slower 5GHz speed measured? Is there a comparison of actual speeds before and after the firmware update?

Here are some general suggestions you can try:

  • Disable QoS, please access http://tplinkwifi.net and go to Advanced >> QoS to disable it.
  • Disable Parental Control, please go to Advanced >> Parental Control to disable it.
  • If wireless speed is slower than expected, please go to Advanced >> Wireless Settings to change the 5GHz Wi-Fi channel, you may try different channels to find the best one for your environment.
  • Disable SIP ALG and UPNP: go to Advanced >> NAT Forwarding >> UPNP to disable UPNP; go to Advanced>> Security to disable SIP ALG.
  • Try a few other speedtest servers, other servers might reach better speeds.

Hi @Szaki26a ,

This sounds consistent with your previous feedback. I noticed your case has been escalated to an engineer. Have you tried contacting them? Your case ID is TKID260251424. If you could help collect backup files, system logs, and other information, it might help the relevant technical department reproduce your situation more quickly.

Yes I was sent them logs so I just said here again this to tell you the problem not solved in the new firmware. If I need to send new logs or something else let me know.

Hi  @Joseph-TP

Thanks for the new firmware update for the Archer BE800 V1 (Build 20260313). I’ve installed it and I’m using two Archer BE550 V2 (Build 20251229) as EasyMesh satellites via Wi-Fi backhaul.

I’ve encountered a couple of issues with the new features:

  1. Traffic Separation Settings: When I try to enable the "Traffic Separation" feature in the Web GUI, the settings are not being saved. After clicking save/apply, the toggle or checkbox doesn't seem to hold the configuration.

  2. Guest Network Extension: The Guest Network is currently not being extended to the satellite nodes. It only remains active on the main BE800 router.

  3. IoT Network Sync: Interestingly, the IoT Network synchronization works perfectly and is correctly broadcasted by the BE550 satellites.

It seems like there might be a bug in the Traffic Separation logic or a protocol mismatch between the latest BE800 firmware and the current BE550 V2 firmware.

Are there any plans for a matching pre-release firmware for the BE550 V2, or is there a specific workaround to force the Traffic Separation settings to save?

Looking forward to your help!

  @raq50 @Joseph-TP

I use practically the same setup (BE800v1 as main & one BE550v2 as satellite — wired easymesh) as raq50 and encounter the same issue's as raq50 describes...
