Custom beta firmware network was stable without any errors.
Beta Firmware Version: 1.6.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 250702 Rel.41162n_Beta
Seems beta fixes still not merged with official firmware stacks.

Hi @David-TP ,
Can support release earlier fix for firmware 1.7.0. Network connection drops are high and I unable to revert to beta firmware.

Hi, thanks a lot for your time and patience.
Can you also give an update to TKID241236673 to inform the senior engineer that a similar issue starts again on the official 1.7.0?
Best regards.

I almost upgraded the 1.6.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 250728 Rel.76285n_Beta version to 1.7.0 but I stopped and checked the forum first since I had the same issue before and had to go through support system for the working firmware.
It is unbelievable that such a big company as TP-Link cannot track reported bugs and merge the fixed code properly before pushing the firmware update which can potentially break the main functionality of a device. And this is not the first time it happened...

I got new beta firmware and the stability is back. This new beta firmware holding on connection for 3 days without any reconnects or errors, All 5G band switching happened without any disconnects or IP changes.
None of the earlier firmware were holding on connections for 12hrs and had frequent 5G band Switchings.

Hello Mr David, hope this message finds u well
My tp link archer nx200 v2 has a problem with the 5G bands manual selection menu, if u are searching for more inquiry about my isp, Im also using the STC Ksa network, and Im in a very good coverage zone, every time I search for 5G bands it only shows me 2 bands, when in reality my isp supports more, It shows me N41 by Zain KSA and N78 by my current ISP which is STC ,nevertheless, when I put the band search on auto. N78 and N40 are the two 5G bands that appear in the status menu, and when i searched for the 5G bands inside the manual selection list N40 did NOT appear in the list, and STC supports more 5G bands such as N77 and N28 as well as many other 5G bands that don't show up in the manual band selection, having made my point I am expecting a rollout for this update for my Tp link archer Nx200 v2, and if possible a reply for the date of release of this update
Also wanted to make a remark about how this is a common firmware bug that the rest of the Nx200 v2's users have to suffer with.
Regards

This issue exists for me too. N40 hardly appears in manual band search mode.
Few issue still exists for me.
1. Manual search doesnt show N40 but signal quality of N40 is much higher than N77 or N78.
2. Auto mode prefers N77 with lower signal quality, but same cell tower has three bands N40,N77,N78
3. N40,N78 in CA mode gives much lower speed than N77 but still device jumps to CA modes
4. All three bands exists in nearby cell towers, but only closest tower gives uninterrupted connections for 4-5 days, other towers has disconnection after 8-12 hours with 6s second sleeps before reconnects (trace has 6s second sleep).
I never got N28 in my area with NX200 or iPhone but do get N28 in iphone if I move to Khobar area .

Thank u for replying, I thought it was just me
In Saudi Arabia the most common high capacity bands for stc is N77 and N78, as well as N40 as a mid capacity TDD band and N28 as a low frequency band that can penetrate walls
Now unfortunately my archer nx200 failed to recognize N40, N28 and N77 in the manual band search, when I use automatic band search it always gives me N78 and N40 paired along with 4G bands B3 B1 and B28, it's really disappointing that the archer nx200 cant recognize these other potentially better 5G bands in the manual band selection list.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
Have you tried contacting local technical support for further assistance? I find that the local team often has better insights, especially when dealing with a specific mobile carrier.

Based on the description, I think the current SIM card is registered on the STC 5G NSA network. It automatically selects the optimal CA combination: N40+N78+B1+B3+B28, which provides the largest 5G bandwidth, though the actual network speed may not be the highest.
In "Manual Band Selection" mode, only 5G NR bands capable of supporting a 5G SA network are listed. This might suggest that N40 or N77 may not be usable on the STC SA network.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

Sometimes all three 5G bands are listed but most of the time only N78 and N77 gets listed.
BTW even firmware 1.8.0 has multicell error.
