Agreed. Best to use the _IoT SSID with basic settings and only 2.4GHz for IoT and then turn on all the latest advanced features on your main SSID.

Thanks. One more question about your setup:
Do you use the same SSID/name for your main WiFi and MLO network, and only keep the IoT SSID separate?
Or do you recommend using three separate SSIDs:
- Main WiFi SSID
- Separate MLO SSID
- Separate 2.4GHz IoT SSID
I’m trying to understand what is the most stable setup for a Deco BE65 system.

@Gino-S Not sure about recommended method, but I have 3 different SSIDs for regular, IoT and MLO networks and it works well.

- Definitely advisable to have a separate IoT with 2.4GHz and basic Wi-Fi settings.
- Then on your main SSID you can have 2.4GHz, 5Ghz & 6Ghz, WPA3, and Fast Roaming. (IoT don't tend to play well with this combo).
- MLO depends on your devices and if you absolutely need the boost it may provide. It can cause incompatibilities with some devices and is not fully supported on many. Newer phones tend to have it, but do you need to max out your download speed on a phone? I would always use a wired connection when speed is critical.

You can also merge the bands as well.
Combined 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz & 6 GHz Tri-Band SSID for Deco Mesh Networks

Yep, I mentioned having all three bands, plus WPA3 and Fast Roaming on your main SSID. Fast Roaming is a real quality of life improvement. I would argue more impactful than MLO.

While I'm happy to see all these updates for BE65 owners, I'm wondering if there are plans to release them for the BE65 Pro as well, given that the only real difference is the Ethernet ports.
Could you kindly check if a firmware update is in the works for the Pro model? If not, could you please pass our frustration along to the development team?

Since upgrading to 1.3.2 Build 26040912 Rel. 40631 on my BE65, speed tests are failing.
I am running 3 Deco BE65, all running 1.3.2 Build 26040912 Rel. 40631 and a BE25 (version 1.1.99 Build 26031912 Rel. 73941) and on the latest beta firmware for the B65, speed tests are failing more often than not.
Diagnostics done:
Rebooted the Decos using both the app and powering them off for 60 seconds.
Clearing the cache in the app on my phone.
Setting up a broadband quality meter on think broadband which confirms no packet loss apart from when I reboot the Decos.
Connection details:
Internet connection type: FTTP 900 Mbps,
Network: My main Deco BE65 is connected directly to the ONT. Authentication type is PPPoE.
To this I have hard wired using cat 7 cable, the other 2 Deco BE65, with each one hard wired to the main Deco via their own LAN cable rather than daisy chained. Switches are not being used. Furthermore, I have a BE25 Outdoor which is wired via a LAN port on one of the extra BE25s.
Whenever I run a speed test or a speed test under QoS settings, more often than not, the speed test instantly says failed, or it will say testing upload for upto 30 seconds before failing.
The connection to the internet is rock solid and speeds, when the speed test does complete are around 908 Mbps down, and 107 Mbps up, with a ping of around 4ms when using a multi server test. Single server tests are generally slower.
I'm using the latest Deco app on my S26 Ultra, version: 3.10.188.
I have system logs and a screen recording (video) if that helps. Just tell me where to send it..
