C220 not triggering alerts on sounds
Thursday
Model: Tapo C220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

All settings as recommended. Camera hears, records and uploads sounds but doesn't trigger alerts when it hears baby cries , dogs, cats, breaking glass.  I have a premium subscription and cameras linked to it.  Firmware is v 1.1.1 and when trying to trigger update I get message saying I am on latest version which seems unlikely to me.  I have tried all the usual suggestions re sensitivity etc.  can anyone help?  I bought these specifically because of breaking glass alert.  Movement alerts all fine.  Can't find how to contact support.  Any advice welcome.  Oh, and I've tried removing cameras, re adding them. Setting them up again without success

Hi,
1. Currently, the latest firmware of the Tapo C220 V2 is 1.1.1 Build 250818 Rel.69983n, so your camera has the latest version.

2. You can click here to find the contact info of our technical support.

3. For the reported sound detection phenomenon, please provide the following information for further analysis.
    1) On the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, are the Sound Detection types (Baby Crying, Glass Break, Dog Barks, and Cat Meows) enabled? If so, what are the sensitivity values for each detection type?

    2) Please go to the camera's Live View page to record a video manually, showing that there are Baby Crying, Glass Break, Dog Barks, or Cat Meows occur, but the camera won't make an alarm sound, send a notification, or record detection video clips. Then, download the video to your phone and send it to us.
You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.

  3) Btw, please ensure your Alarm or Notification feature is configured correctly. For example, on the Notification settings page, please ensure the sound detection types are selected in the Activity Type page.

Best Regards
