Firmware Version: 1.6.0 0.9.1 v004a.0 Build 181219 Rel.54042n

The router worked with a prepaid SIM in Hong Kong.

 

So going to American, I bought a data sim from eiotclub, and it worked on my iPhone.


However, when I put the SIM in the router, it did not work. 

 

I setup the APN with eiot's instruction hoping to fix the problem, but still failed with the following message:

 

"Internet Status: Disconnected

Internet unavailable due to no 3G or 4G signal. Please position the antennas upward and place the router in a location where it can get a good 3G or 4G signal reception."

 

I contacted eIOT, they said their SIM is known to work with all TP-Link routers.

I have no idea what is wrong, maybe I need to select US Band?  If so, where can I find that on the control panel

 

Please help me Urgently and I need that for my business trip!  Thx!

Hi, welcome to the community.  

If you plan to use the 4G router in America, M8550 would be a better choice:https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/wifi-router/m8550/

Archer MR200 isn't available in the US; its network connectivity and performance haven't been tested.
