Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.4.0

I currently have two Deco X60 v3.0 receivers with firmware 1.4.0 Build 20241212, but since version 1.3.0 Build 20240830, the preferred connection to a specific satellite seems to be ignored by clients, primarily Tapo devices, where I've noticed it doesn't respect the connection preference settings.

These devices are connected to the 2.4 GHz IoT network.

  @Alex-Rdz

Hi, welcome to the community.

Can I have the model numbers of the Tapo devices?

Please also refer to this link to help me submit the Deco App log:

It would be highly appreciated if you could add some screenshots of the network maps to the email content:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Hi David,

I've already sent the log with attached images via email.

The versions with which I've seen this problem are:

Tapo C325WB v1.0 Firmware 1.4.2 Build 251114 (Primary Deco Preference)

Tapo C320WS v2.0 Firmware 1.3.5 Build 250522 (Secondary Deco Preference)

Additional information regarding signal strength: when connected to the primary Deco, the Tapo C320WS registers a value of -65 RSSI, while when connected to the secondary Deco, it registers a value of -50 RSSI.
