Hey Community,

We have received user feedback that when using official Firmware 1.2.10, or pre-release firmware 1.3.0 on Deco BE63 V2, Deco BE65 V2, and Deco BE11000 V2, NAT Loopback anomalies, such as the following, may occur:

  • Inability to access a local server using the WAN IP + Port from within the LAN, although it works fine via the LAN IP.

  • Accessing the server via the WAN IP from an external network works fine.

Applies to:

Deco BE63 V2

Deco BE65 V2

Deco BE11000 V2

Available Solutions:

Our R&D department has provided beta firmware to address this behavior. We encourage affected users to download and manually update to this beta firmware and to share feedback on their experience.

Hi @Ryan

Is this firmware file the same as the one shared in the 1.3.0 beta thread below?

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/856030

The filenames are identical and both have the same updated date stamp of 13 February 2026.

Hi  @WelshPaul

Yes, they are the same―the original pre-release thread had its download link updated to ensure users have the most up-to-date solution.

This new thread was created to help raise awareness for the updated beta solution for users affected by the reported NAT Loopback behavior.

Yes, currently, the NAT Loopback fix beta does not include the Heatmap feature – sorry for any confusion.

However, since users running 1.3.0 (whether the Pre-Release, or Heatmap beta) may experience NAT Loopback anomalies, we recommend affected users prioritize addressing the NAT Loopback concerns foremost.

Our teams are in conversation with development to see if we can get an updated Heatmap beta firmware that includes both Heatmap and the NAT Loopback fix―please stay tuned.

That said, if you aren't having NAT Loopback issues and would prefer to continue testing Heatmap, you can revert to the Heatmap beta firmware.

  @Ryan @David-TP

My only feedback here is TP Link currently have 3, possibly 4 versions of beta firmware out for titled models all at the same time. I think most of us would prefer one version that provides everything in one version to test. Your engineering teams must be falling over themselves attempting to provide various versions of firmware at the same time, and providing different features.
