5GHz Keeps Disconnecting and Speed Drops - Archer AX12 V1.0 Firmware 1.2.1
Hello,
I have an Archer AX12 V1.0 with the latest firmware 1.2.1 Build 20250729 Rel. 73566 and I am experiencing a very frustrating issue with my 5GHz connection.
Problem 1 - 5GHz Disconnecting:
My 5GHz Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting randomly on its own and then reconnects again after a few seconds. This happens repeatedly and I have to keep reconnecting my devices every time. It is very unstable and I cannot use the internet properly.
Problem 2 - Sudden Speed Drop:
Sometimes the internet speed suddenly becomes very slow without any reason. The only way to fix it is to manually turn off the router and turn it back on again. After the restart, the speed goes back to normal, but after some time the same issue happens again.
Temporary Fix I Found:
I disabled IPv6 and QoS from the router settings and after that the issues seemed to reduce. But I do not want to keep these features disabled permanently as it is not a proper solution.
My Device Info:
Model: Archer AX12
Hardware Version: V1.0
Firmware: 1.2.1 Build 20250729 Rel. 73566
IP: 192.168.0.1
I have read that a beta firmware has been released to fix the instability issues on this firmware version. Could you please share the beta firmware for my device so I can test it and see if it resolves these problems?
Thank you very much for your help!
