2.4Ghz instability after upgrade to firmware 1.3.1 on Deco XE75Pro
I've had 2.4Ghz instantly issues in the past with the XE75Pro but these were largely fixed with firmware 1.2.14 which I installed latest December. A couple of days ago a message came up in the Deco app pushing a firmware update to 1.3.1, which I accepted. And all the problems are back. IoT devices and Sonos keep disconnecting and reconnecting (2.4ghz band only). The system is borderline unusable. Anyone else having this problem? Any fixes I can try? The latest firmware apparently doesn't allow downgrading.

Hi, nice to see you again.
Yes, there is a new version which is based on the official 1.3.0. I've left the message with this new beta.
You can help me test whether it helps.
Best regards.

@RB777 - I was about to hit 'install' on the update message in the app today, but happy that I checked whether this would not bring the historic issues back that I also suffered from (Nest, Sonos not connecting). So I guess I should wait until this has again been resolved under the 1.3.1 version, but how will we know?
My current versions are 1.3.0 Build 20250917 Rel. 37734 for my 5 XE75Pros and 1.3.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43619 for my X50-Outdoor. All is working fine.
However, I just added another X50-Outdoor that came with 1.2.4 Build 20230922 Rel. 71054 so I would like to bring that one to at least the same as the other X50-Outdoor...
Suggestions welcome, happy to update them all manually once more. Just don't understand why the official (in-app) firmware update is not based on the very functional beta versions that are distributed here on the forum? Thanks!

Thanks, @David-TP. A quick question - when I upgraded it went to 1.3.1, but this beta is based on 1.3.0. Is that correct? And can I install it as when the firmware upgrade went through it said downgrading wouldn't be possible and I guess this is a mini-downgrade.
Assuming you come back and say it's OK, I'm going to hold off for a couple more days. I turned off beamforming and fast roaming, then power cycled all the IoT devices which were problematic. I also power cycled the Sonos devices which kept falling off the network - that wasn't effective but I then factory reset them and connected them to the WiFi afresh. It's too early to tell if they are stable or not but there has definitely been an improvement so far.
If I get more drop-offs over the next couple of days, and you can confirm that I can move to this beta from 1.3.1, then I'll test the firmware as you suggest.
I previously had beamforming and fast roaming turned on so it's odd to now be getting a better result when those functions are turned off. If and when I test the beta, I'll try both with those on and off.
@MickF I'll let you know when if the 1.3.1 stays stable and what beamforming/fast roaming settings work.

Hi, it is recommended to test the 1.3.0 beta when you're available, and the 1.3.1 official could downgrade to the 1.3.0 beta directly via web UI.
Best regards.

@David-TP Hi, I've installed the v1.3.0 firmware. The v1.3.1 was still causing problems with my Sonos (cutting out, dropping off the Sonos system altogether). For now, I have beamforming and fast roaming turned on. I need a couple of days to test, and then I'll get back to you. Thanks for your help.
