Hello @TPUnlinked ,

Welcome to our community.

It seems your BE805 has been experiencing 6G instability, right? Are other bands such as 2.4G and 5G stable?

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help:

1) Router placement: Make sure the router is properly placed in an open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf. The 6GHz band has more limited range and is more affected by obstacles than lower frequency bands.
2) Adjust wireless settings: In the web interface, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings. Try different 6GHz channels to avoid interference. You might also try adjusting the channel width settings to find a more stable configuration.
3) Check client device compatibility: Ensure that your client devices' network adapter drivers, operating system, and firmware are all up to date. 6GHz (Wi-Fi 6E/7) is relatively new and may require the latest drivers for optimal stability.
4) Verify Parental Controls: Make sure the affected client devices are not included in any Parental Control profiles that might be causing disconnections.

By the way, have you tested a different 6 GHz router at the same location?

  @Joseph-TP

Hi,

I tried every toubleshooting steps, here's what I've found:

When 6 Ghz is enabled, it will cause both 5 Ghz and 6 Ghz to be unstable and extremely slow (<5 mbps) after about 3 days of usage, requiring a restart. The issue occurs again after about 3 days and the cycle repeats.

If  6 Ghz is disabled (with both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz enabled), there is no issuse and the router is stable for months.

Hi  @TPUnlinked ,

Thanks for your update.

There does appear to be some anomaly in the 6G connection. Please help us collect the following information:

1. Router backup file

2. Client models connected to 6G

3. Models of all affected clients

To help you efficiently, I've forwarded your case to the TP-Link support engineers, who will reach out to you using your registered email address later. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for follow-up.
