I am experiencing very frequent short internet dropouts on my TP-Link Archer NX600 router. The router is connected to the T‑Mobile 5G mobile network. The issue occurs multiple times per day (around 10 times).

The symptoms:

  • All connected devices lose internet connectivity for a few seconds.
  • The TV stream stops immediately, which makes the issue very easy to notice, but the dropout affects every device on the network.
  • The LEDs on the router remain normal during these short outages.
  • Occasionally, the router restarts by itself, causing a longer outage due to rebooting.
  • Signal strength is excellent (100%).
  • I have already replaced the power adapter — no change.
  • I have tried a different power outlet — no change.

The problem persists regardless of load or time of day.

I would appreciate guidance on how to diagnose the cause or whether this could indicate a hardware or firmware issue.

Hi, 
Please provide the following information for further analysis.


  1. When did you purchase the Archer NX600? Did it work properly?
  2. Have you tried to insert the SIM card into another router or mobile phone and test if the network is stable?
  3. Please check the number of the client devices connected to the NX600.
  4. When the connected device loses internet connection, please test if it can ping the router's LAN IP and some websites(such as www.google.com) successfully.
