Deco M5 v3.20 firmware 1.9.4 build 20260312 rel. 17129
Hi All,
My Deco M5 V.3.20 got updated to firmware firmware 1.9.4 build 20260312 rel. 17129 last night.
but there was no features listed for this one ? is there anyone knew about features for this new firmware 1.9.4 build 20260312 rel. 17129 ? Thank you

The firmware 1.9.4 Build 20260312 Rel. 17129 for the Deco M5 V3.2 has improved system stability and security. However, it has no new features added.

- Do you mean the Deco app does not show the Deco's features? If so, please restart the Deco nodes and check if this helps. Then, send us a screenshot of the page displayed in the Deco app.

Yes, but now they show the update list. This is taken from other Deco M5 that hasn't been updated to ver 1.9.4 build 20260312 rel. 17129

Hi,
Thank you for the updates. Usually, when you update the firmware manually in the Deco app, you will see the "New Features/Enhancement" on the new firmware before updating it. If the firmware is updated, you will see the firmware version info in the Deco app.

I have a v1 and v3 deco m5
via the app the v1 is showing the upgrade is available but the v3 isnt. Any ideas?
i know you can always upgrade manually and download the firmware and apply via a pc but i always prefer to do it via the app. Im located in australia.

The firmware v1.9.4 is being released gradually. If you want to update the firmware via the Deco app, please wait patiently for the new firmware to be released to your other Deco units.

Dear TP-Link team,
I am based in the EU and have been desperate for months as my mixed network of M5 and M9 Plus (being an M9 the main deco) tends to show zero devices connected at some point (not being true!). Even the app is unable to display the true layout of the network (only displaying some of my 7 deco with a criteria I don't understand). As you can see the TP Link app is a total mess. This happens at some point after any reboot (starts OK and at some point ... zero devices).
Since I don't want to wait anymore for the rollout in EU or this 1.9.4 M5 version, and I don't want to install betas, can I install the US version I can see available on the US deco support page ?

Hi,
If your Deco M5 has hardware version V1/V2/V3, you can download the latest firmware (v1.9.4) here and update it via the Deco's web UI.
