I'm starting to have issues on the recordings on all my Tapo cameras. I have C225 and C200.

One of the C225 stopped recording (no recording on playback) and I have to reformat the SD card losing all previous recordings 

All the recordings on all cameras start having echoing sound on the recordings instead of normal audio. I have switched it off and on and still face the same issue. Previously the recordings were fine.

Also, the motion tracking is not that accurate anymore, some of them can't track motion accurately and only rotate to a certain angle.

First, regarding the Tapo C225 not recording:
Could you please confirm whether the issue is that the camera does not detect motion at all, or that it detects motion but fails to record video?
To help clarify this, please check the Notification page in the Tapo app and confirm whether you are still receiving motion detection notifications when the issue occurs.

As an initial step, we recommend:
1. Restarting the camera
2. Temporarily disabling detection, saving the settings, then re‑enabling and reconfiguring detection and recording
3. Please test again after these steps to see whether recording resumes.

 

For the audio echo issue, please follow the troubleshooting steps in this FAQ: How to Reduce Noise on Tapo Cameras
If the problem persists after completing the steps in the FAQ, kindly provide a sample audio or video file so we can analyze it further.


Regarding the motion tracking issue, could you please also provide a video showing the behavior so we can better understand what’s happening?
