Tapo C610 Pan/Tilt rotation block - "Reached maximum extent" bug
Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent issue with my Tapo C610 camera regarding its rotation limit. The camera frequently stops panning and refuses to turn further, displaying the error message indicating it has "reached maximum extent", even though it is physically far from its actual mechanical stop.
The issue is heavily tied to the Motion Tracking feature. Once the tracking is triggered, the camera loses its alignment or software limits, and manual pan/tilt control gets restricted.
A manual calibration (Pan & Tilt Correction) or toggling the Privacy Mode only fixes the issue temporarily before it occurs again.
According to community reports on Reddit and this forum, a specific firmware update or beta build has been developed to fix this axis drift and software limit bug on the C610.
Could you please push the patch or corrective firmware to my device?
