Just replaced my camera but won't connect,  I've followed every step thru set up. Can pick up the tapo on the WiFi connection but failing to connect. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi,

If you are unable to set up or configure your Tapo camera, please follow the steps below for your camera type. 

 Error “Unable to Find/Connect to this Tapo Camera”

    1. Confirm the camera model selected in the app is correct. Move your phone/tablet closer to the camera.

    2. Disable cellular data, VPNs, and ad‑blocking apps.

    3. On iOS, ensure Local Network is enabled: Why do I need to give Local Network permission to TP-Link apps in iOS devices?

    4. Wi‑Fi models: Ensure the phone is connected to the camera’s default Wi‑Fi.

    5. Bluetooth models: Enable Bluetooth, toggle it off and on, then retry.

    6. Wired models: Ensure the phone and camera are on the same network. Try a different Ethernet cable or router LAN port.
