  @Joseph-TP Hi Joseph,

Just to clarify, is this only for BE220 v2, not v1? Just a bit confused with the posts and versioning.

Also, should we use this, not the 1.9.99 20260803-rel57408, which seems to be released on the same date?

  @sanjuanparada

Thanks for the reminder; the BE220 corresponds to the V1 hardware version, and I have corrected this.
It is recommended to download this pre-release firmware if you haven't already installed the previous 1.9.99 beta firmware.

I have installed the 1.9.99 from support last week and was just about to install the 1.9.99 supposedly released 0803. Will update to this one now. Thank you.

  @Joseph-TP

Just flashed this firmware to my BE230 and unfortunately problem is not resolved. 2.4ghz up for 2-3 minutes after reboot, then stops broadcasting. 5ghz and Wire unaffected.

I am facing an issue with the Arabic language in the router's web interface after updating to firmware version 1.3.3 EU ( V 1 )on my Archer BE220 ( V 1 ).When selecting Arabic, the interface remains in English and refuses to switch, even though the option is visible. I have already tried restarting the router, performing a factory reset, and testing via multiple browsers and devices, but the issue persists. It seems to be a bug introduced in this specific firmware update. Please look into this and release a fix.

Subject: RAM Usage Spike after Firmware 1.3.3 Update - Archer BE220 (EU) V1Dear TP-Link Engineering Team,I am writing to report that after updating my Archer BE220 (EU) V1 router to firmware version 1.3.3, the baseline RAM usage jumped from 34% to 43% and remains high. I have already tried a full factory reset and multiple system reboots, but the RAM consumption does not drop back to its previous optimal level, indicating a potential memory leak in this firmware build. Please look into this issue and provide a fix or a stable rollback solution as soon as possible

Hello  @nycwifiguy ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

Basic info

Did this anomaly also start with firmware version 1.3.3? Could you let us know the following info:

  • A complete network topology diagram.
  • The number, types, and specific models of 2.4 GHz clients connected to your network

Suggestion:

We previously received a suggestion from other users to set the 2.4GHz channel width to 20MHz; this might be helpful.

How to follow up:

  1. If you were previously able to use the 2.4 GHz band normally with a firmware version before 1.3.3, you can downgrade to that version, even if you have already updated to 1.3.4 Pre-release.
  2. If you prefer to use the latest firmware and would like further analysis, we recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com  with the following information:

  @Joseph-TP

I have already been in communication with support and am starting the RMA process, I was hopeful that a firmware update might solve the issue.

I am not sure when the router auto-updated, but the issues started late Thursday the 30th. This may have coincided with the firmware upgrade.

There are a variety of 2.4ghz devices, all of which cannot see the network, leading me to believe the router is not broadcasting the network.

Hi @am96v ,

Thanks for reporting your feedback.

May I confirm whether you tried installing the 1.3.4 pre-release? Did the RAM usage spike you mentioned begin with firmware version 1.3.3, or has it been present since you purchased the device?

What client devices do you have? Are there any devices or network activities generating high traffic?

When RAM usage spikes, does the network remain stable, without lag or disconnections? If so, this is a normal memory management mechanism, and there is no need for undue concern.
You can also try reducing the number of connected client devices to determine if the anomaly is caused by specific network activities or particular clients.

  @nycwifiguy ,

In that case, let's wait until you receive the replacement, and then we can test together whether the anomaly is resolved.
