DECO E4 stuck in yellow light
Hello,
Just bought the 2 pack Deco E4 and upon setting up one of the unit stuck in yellow light mode and not able to enter setup mode(blue blinking light).
The unit also not displaying the blinking yellow light, only constant yellow light.
Troubleshooting done:
- Tried changing power cable with the working unit - not working
- Tried rebooting & reset the unit couple of times - not working
- Tried connecting the "stucked" unit to working unit directly via LAN - not working
So now i'm stuck with only 1 unit working and not able to add the additional unit to set up my mesh network at home.
Anyone have experienced similar problem ? Can share any steps to rectify this.
Thanks

Hi David, please ensure that you use the original power adapter. You can use another power adapter for other Deco units.
And then reboot the Deco E4 and hold the reset hole for 1s with it powered on.
After that, please verify whether it becomes pulsing blue.
Besides, may I know where and when did you buy this Deco E4?
Good day.

Hello, sorry to respond late, did you solve it yet?
If it still cannot be fixed and keeps showing yellow, you can contact the retailer or the local tech support to verify whether the replacement is qualified.
Good day.

Hello, you mentioned you upgraded the firmware on the second unit, may I know how did you upgrade it?
Was there any power outage during the firmware upgrading?
Besides, did you remember the firmware before/after you updated it?
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z - As soon as the unit was connected initially, the app on my phone, that guided me through set up, prompted me to upgrade the unit - which I did with the first unit too. The upgrade was successful and the unit rebooted, but did not get past the yellow light phase again. There was no power outage during the upgrade, although there have been subsequent power outages throughout the day. The other unit is still working fine however. I cannot remember the firmware prior to upgrading, but it was updated to the latest firmware.

@Kevin_Z Hi.
Power supply is the original one. Changing with the working unit one still stuck in yellow.
Reset button doesn't do nothing.
unit was purchased on Jan 1019
