Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6 Build 20190822 rel.26396(5553)

So since I have started using this router I have had this issue.  I need to reboot it each time this happens to resolve it.  Basically I am only using 5GHZ band and every so often wireless clients are suddenly unable to connect to the network and it will sometimes report that the password is incorrect when it is not.  When I reboot the router the issue resolves itself, this occurs easily once a week.  I would love to fix this problem and I see some others in the community have had similar issues.

Thank you.

Hello, did you turn off the 2.4GHz? If not, what is the network stability?

When 5GHz stops working, can you get internet from the Archer AX6000 by ethernet cable?

Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hi Kevin,

yes 2.4 is off.  When this occurs internet is still accessible via ethernet.

ok so I installed the firmware and it's worse.  I get disconnected continuously from wifi and see that 'invalid password' message on my phone and when I reboot router it is better for a short time (very short) until it happens again.  Can I reinstall latest official firware again by downloading it?

Hello, sorry to hear that it became worse. Would you please do further troubleshooting with us to locate this issue and fix it?

You can plug an USB drive into the USB port and gather some system log when the router stops working next time. The log will be saved on the USB drive automatically.

Otherwise, you can flash back to the official firmware.

ok I just 'forgot my network' and rebooted my iphone and it seems to have stabilized so far.  Let me sit with this for a few more days and see what happens.  I will respond with an update soon.  Thanks again.

May I have this magic beta firmware too? I've absolutely the same problem with my AX6000 router. 5Hz band is almost unusable because of disconnections and re-connect rejection. At the same time 2.4GHz band and wired clients works smoothly. Thank you!
