TX401 PCIe 10Gb poor upload speeds
So I just purchased the TP-Link TX401 10Gigabit PCIe NIC installed it in my PC and connected it to the 10Gb port on my Zyxel 7501-B0 modem/Router with the included CAT6A cable and it does say it's connecting at 10/10Gb both on my PC and via the Router that's all good but here is the problem
My Fiber connection speed is 2000/2000Mbps so with this card I should be able to nearly max out that speed and it does do it for the download speed but for upload speed I'm not even getting 1Mbps it actually goes like this 2118 down and 0.04Mbps up using the speedtest app on Windows 10 X64 (21H1) to an premium test 10Gbps server Chorus Fiber test labs and several other 10Gbps test servers here in NZ including my own ISP's test server Vocus
I spent an hour on the phone with my ISP trying to sort it and we've both come to the same conclusion that it's the NIC
I also tested my PC via it's onboard Intel i211 nic via a 1Gb lan connection on the same router only to get 950Mbps down and 948Mbps up so there's nothing wrong there that's performing like it should also I tested the TX401 via the 1Gbps port and it acted the same great download speed exceptionally poor upload speed 998Mbps down and 4.25Mbps upload speed
so what do I do TP-Link either the card is faulty and needs to be replaced ( It is brand new purchased from PB Tech here in NZ) or it needs it's firmware updated to one that has this problem fixed
