X5700 LAN IP Address restricted

Question I seem to be restricted from changin the LAN/Roter IP address. It won't let me change it to anything other than 192.168.x.x I'd like to use 15.X.X.X
Why is this happening?

Hi, maybe the following information will provide some assistance.
1. Deco does not allow assigning public IP addresses for its LAN.
2. The LAN IP range for Deco would be:
Class A: 10.0.0.0—10.255.255.255
Class B: 172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255
Class C: 192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255

Hi, Can I have a video clip that you could not set up to be 15.xxx.xxx.xxx, only 192.168.xxx.xxx?
Could you please send me a private message of the exact LAN IP you want to use so that I could test it on my side?

Hi, It seemed you tended to set up a public IP(15.20.xxx.xxx) as the LAN of Deco which is not allowed for Deco since it is only allowed a private IP address.
May I know why did you want to use this IP?
Was It given by your internet service provider?

The IP for LAN is private something I want to setup for my internal WiFi router. 15.X.X.X is not a public domain IP that I'm aware of?

Hi, the IP 15.20.xxx.xxx could roughly identify your location.
And I also see this post and 15.20.xxx.xxx is within class A.

I'm not understanding? Does the Deco router not mask/privatize internal IP's?
