Local network stops if modern goes offline
Why does local network drive sharing (PC to PC) stop working if the internet modem goes offline.
- modem goes offline caused by ISP outage
- Deco is in router mode (providing 192.xxx.xxx.xxx local IP addresses)
- if streaming/ accessing data from a shared local drive on a computer attached to the network, while the Deco is waiting for the internet modem to re-establish a connection with the ISP the local network stops until internet access is re-established.
Other routers do not function in this manner, why do these?
