not able to scan 5GHz network.

my router do not allow to down the channel setting as recommended by some similar threads. any other solution.

By the way, product should mention about the design limitation in their product manual. why hiding such information. it's pathetic.

Thank you for reaching out to us, it is recommended to modem manufacture or ISP side and see if it is possible to change to 5Ghz channel. 

Troubleshooting TP-Link Extender is not detecting the 5GHz Signal of the Main Router

You may also reboot router , use a Wi-Fi scanner app like Wi-Fi analyyzer app and see if channel changes after the reboot of router, this sometimes helps when router does not allow changing channel.
