I've just bought a Deco X50-4g router and I can't get my work laptop to successfully connect to the internet via (it uses a VPN connection). It connects to the Deco happily but can't VPN out. The same laptop works fine with my old router and my home pc works fine with the Deco (without a VPN). The work laptop also works fine on VPN via my mobile phone running as Wifi hotspot (including when using the SIM from the Deco router).

So I figure:

it's not a problem with the Deco setup more broadly (works with my home PC & mobile phone)

it's not a problem with the work laptop more broadly (works with my old router and my mobile phone as hotspot),

it's not a problem with the SIM in the Deco (as my work laptop happily gets a VPN connection when using my mobile as a hotspot using the SIM from the DECO)

but it seems specifically to be a problem using a VPN connection over the DECO... (and indeed, I installed a VPN client on my home pc and that seemed to have problems then accessing the internet...)

Any thoughts?
