Hi, Archer AX53 will support EasyMesh ethernet backhaul as well but no ETA can be given now, thus please pay attention to any new firmware update via the router Web GUI or TP-Link official website.

@Kevin_Z having issues getting this to work following your instructions. at first after resetting the second router and switching it to satelite mode I kept having issues with the pc connecting to it instead of the main router as the IP addresses were both 192.168.0.1. so I change the main router IP to 192.168.1.1 then it wont see the satelite device. I then changed the main router back to 192.168.0.1 and the satelite to 192.168.0.3 and was able to see the satelite router in the easymesh setup but got a message saying "Unable to add this device. Try the following:" when trying to add it. Both routers have the bet firmware loaded.

Hi, are you trying to setup EasyMesh via Ethernet backhaul? Please share with us the model no., hardware and firmware version of the main router and also satellite routers.
Besides, after resetting the satellite router to factory defaults, please don't login the satellite router web interface any more, you could follow this guide to set up the EasyMesh:

If it still doesn't work, please follow this guide for troubleshooting: What If I Fail to Establish EasyMesh Network?
