Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

When I toggle on IoT network, I can't find it, using wifi analyzer app. It's as if it's hidden, or I am supposed to be able to see this IoT network, besides the Main and Guest network ?

Also, the other problem is CPU Usage is constantly near 100%, I suspect this is the cause of the crash Solid RED LED, when I use a 5G SIM. If I use 4G SIM, it hangs on a lot longer before crashing.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

May I know who is your SIM Operator?

I saw a similar feedback about the IOT network a few days. Could you please refer to help me submit the Deco APP log first-How to submit Deco APP log?

For the "100% CPU load", did it always stay on 100%? Will it drop to a lower level after a few minutes?

How often will the Deco X50-5G turn to solid red? Would a reboot temporary restore the connection?

It is suggested to refer to this link to set "Cell Lock" to check whether it helps improve the network stability:

How to Configure Cell Lock on the Deco X50-5G

Wait for your reply and Best regards.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

May I know who is your SIM Operator? -> SIMBA from Singapore, It's supposed to be 5G, but where I'm located, I can only get 4G. This one appears more stable and doesn't crash as much.

Another 5G SIM from giga (Singapore), this one crashed a lot more often. but I get 5G at my location. Sometimes crashes after a few hours.

I saw a similar feedback about the IOT network a few days. Could you please refer to help me submit the Deco APP log first-How to submit Deco APP log?

-> I have already submitted the logs. I can't see any IoT network, after I enable it.

For the "100% CPU load", did it always stay on 100%? Will it drop to a lower level after a few minutes?

-> Mostly stays at 100% , even after many minutes.

How often will the Deco X50-5G turn to solid red? -> With SIMBA at 4G, occasionally solid red, with giga at 5G more often.

Would a reboot temporary restore the connection? -> need to recycle power. Then it goes back to working, but still 100% CPU load.

It is suggested to refer to this link to set "Cell Lock" to check whether it helps improve the network stability:

How to Configure Cell Lock on the Deco X50-5G

-> had done that, set to TPG. TPG is previous name for SIMBA

Wait for your reply and Best regards.

I'm happy to report v1.2.1 has fixed the stability problem. It's been 6h running flawlessly. Previous v1.2.0 would crash in  less than 2h. CPU usage is now normal.

IoT network is also visible.

Thanks to tp-link engineer for logging in and finding the root cause.
