Hi there, I Just want to confirm that the x50-5g will get the ability to have a IoT network like the x50 mesh system?
That would be great, any idea when the firmware will become a production release and out of beta ?
Thanks
Dave

@gnz I've been offered a new firmware upgrade (1.2.0 20241230-rel33540) which I might try before returning the X50-5g. I'd like to keep it because it was really fast on 4g.
Which modem are you considering? Any thoughts on the Archer NX200?

@tap0 Oh wow the MR200 is really old. I owned and used the MR400 and then MR600 for quite a long time before moving to X50-4G (which update cycle was so short and then quietly pushed to end of life). The X50-5G I'm using now is the worst among them all when it comes to stability.

Yesterday, great speed results, all devices connected, vpn client working.
Today, wifi down and no connection. All deco show green LED.
I'm returning this as faulty. Back to the slow but stable Archer mr200.

@tap0 I suspect they are force-throttling the CPU usage to go down when you click to view it on the device info.
Otherwise, the CPU usage still maxed out throughout the day for me. It's like a false cosmetic fix. My X50-5G still hits 100% all the time, and when click to view usage, it went down. Been checking randomly throughout the day and it's the same, nothing changed UNTIL you click to view and it goes down about half a minute later. Come back again, still max.
Support enginner wanted me to provide remote access to my network for support. Well, no thank you.

Although there are still issues with the X50-5g, the firmware seems to have fixed the CPU issue. It no longer sits at 100%.
The vpn client is working also.
I still cannot access the sections for Internet and external antenna. Both are greyed out when connected to wifi.

@David-TP I've just checked the email. It's a support request for remote access (which I usually will decline due to security issues).
Thank you for the help so far with my devices. I have given up and decided to move to Ubiquiti. It's tough to keep dealing with the X50-5G's CPU kept maxing out and going down repeatedly throughout the day and I've had enough with mine.
All the best in solving and fixing the problems.

Hi, since you are still on the 1.2.0 version, have you tried to install the 1.2.1beta in the first post?
Best regards.

Hi, I don't think this warning is because of using the beta firmware. What is the current OS of your iPhone?
You could refer to the suggestions here to see whether they helped:

Update:
For the CPU and network instability, I have checked with the engineer and he will contact you directly via email. Please check whether you could receive his email later.
Thank you very much and best regards.
