Hi,

My iPhone 16 Pro runnign iOS 18.4 developer beta 4 cannot see the 6GHz SSID I set on BE550, and the phone stays on 5GHz when connected via MLO mode. Have tried to enable/disable PSC mode and picked channels manually, set the signal to 160MHz instead of 320MHz, everything but to no avail. The phone just stays on the 5GHz SSID very steadily.

I'm in Macau and WIFI 7 is on the market already, so this issue is rather unfortunate.

Would appreciate any advise. Thanks!

Halden

Hi @halden2714,

If you are experiencing issues with your devices not detecting the Wi-Fi network of your TP-Link Archer Router, or only can detect 2.4G, or 5G, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
For 6GHz network:
    1. Make sure the 6GHz network is enabled and not hidden, you may check this on the Tether APP > More > Wi-Fi Settings.
    2. Make sure your client device supports 6GHz Wi-Fi, drivers and system are all up to date.
    3. Make sure you are using the Router and the client device in a country that allows Wi-Fi 6E/7 operation, if your Router and client device are not purchased from the same country, Wi-Fi 6E operation might not be available.
You could refer to this article for more detailed instructions: What if my device failed to detect the 6 GHz Wi-Fi Band
