NC450 Sd card issues
2017-10-17 09:05:45
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have 2 nc450 cameras and they both have this same issue with sd cards. The sd cards test fine on a computer. The first camera developed this issue about a week ago and now the second camera started today. Both cameras read that there is an sd card even if there isnt. Formatting fails and so does the hard reset. Ive attached screenshots of the problems.

What's the format of your SIM card? This camera only support Fat 32 . The error message on the app says Formatting required.
And what's the firmware version ,hardware version of your camera? It is suggested to update the latest firmware first.

Firmware is the latest and sd cards are formatted to fat32. Ive had some minor sd card issues with these cameras before like having to format them cause suddenly the camera doesnt recognize them but now its completely useless. The pic saying format required is from the camera that doesnt even have an sd card in it.

As far as I know , the latest firmware of the camera
Support 128GB SD card and formatting function.
I think you can contact the tp-link support for further assistance ...

I also have same problems with SD card. Especially when its nearing full capacity. .You cant format them with app. cant seem to playback history. When I insert SD card in computer; its been recording and I can access data.I can restart camera but still have the issue. I copy data then reformat. It is a nuisance as I have cameras mounted in corner on furniture. I have 2 units with same issue.

The new version app adds the format function. Can't you see it or can't you press it?
If the SD card has some other files in it, it can't clean the data automatically even when it is full.
So it is suggested to format the sd card to FAT32 before you insert it into the camera.
Besides, the whole storage of the SD card should be over 500MB.
