Kasa keeps disconnecting from IFTTT and Google Home
It must be a problem on TP-Link's side because it affects both IFTTT and Google Home. I have to ask Google Home to synchronize my devices to get back control over the lights, switches and plugs.
I also have to edit the IFTTT applets to reassign all the kasa devices.
It's been like this for over a week now. I would like to know when it will be fixed.

Does the tplink still work? Can you control lights, plugs... remotely?
Would there be any notification or error on Google home app?

same for me - possibly seems like if you have a schedule programmed via kasa it messes up google homes handling of the bulbs

Google Home says it cannot reach that bulb or switch until I tell it to synchronize my devices.
IFTTT applets no longer have the target bulb/switch. I have to edit the applet and select the bulb/switch again.

It never happened before. Now it's at least once a day totally random.

If you can control the light remotely, using other wifi or mobile data, from kasa app, then I think the problem could be on google home

Kasa app works in local mode. In remote mode, there's a 10-15 second delay for the first command to take effect. The following commands react faster.
I will say it again: Google Home AND IFTTT are affected. It looks like the TP-Link cloud server is too slow to respond.

Please make sure you could remotely control Kasa devices via Kasa app using cellular data or a non- local Wi-Fi with No problem first.
Detailed issue description of Google/ IFTTT including the TP-Link device model as well as its hardware version will help a lot in addressing the issue, so don't hesitate to provide as more details as you can, thank you
