Hi,

What is the model number of your smart bulb?

Please turn it on and off for 5 times at a slower rate.

Then try to set it up as the instruction below:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1233/

May it help and have a nice day.

I had a similar problem (at least I don't have to start a new topic), turning it on and off didn't help. What should I do?

@rodriclar

Change another lamp base and change another socket to plug it.

Then please hard reset it by turning it on and off for 5 times at a slower rate.

After that, can you see the smart bulb's wifi? If so, you can follow the quick installation guide to set it up.

Best regards.
