Hi! I'm buying outdoor security camera. TP-Link KC200 came on my shortlist. But I do have one question. The cable that's plugged in camera, is that a power supply? Does it need to be plugged in all the time? Can someone explain please?

Thank you!

Hi,

The cable plugged into the camera is an USB cable which connects the power adapter provided to power the camera. You can refer to the user manual to get more information.

Meanwhile, the KC200 does not have internal battery, so the power supply need to be plugged in all the time.

Good day.
