 I have a dual band router (2.4 and 5 GHz), my mobile device is on the fast 5 GHz band. While the smart switch has to connect to the slow 2.4 GHz.

After the installation could I control the switch while I am connecting on the 5GHz using the app?

 

If not it is very troublesome to switch manually everytime.

@robo 

 

For your information, the HS200 supports 2.4GHz only, so it needs to connect to the 2.4GHz of the main router. 

 

While you still can manage it when you connect to the 5GHz or the cellular data.
