Dear all and technical support Team,

For the last 6 months I cannot connect to my TPlink camera (v 3.1.8) remotely through 3 or 4G network. I can only connect when home through wifi. Hardware verion 2.0 and firmware version 1.5.2. I use iphone IOS 12.3.1.

@KostasP

Hello, please ensure that the remote control has been enabled on the tpCamera app, you can go to camera settings page to check it.

Please ensure that your iPhone can access internet with cellular data.

Try to disable the firewall on the main router and try to access it remotely.

Or you can open a port for the camera and try to access the web UI remotely with the IP address and port number.

May it help.

Hello,

I have the same issue and can connect to the camera from external devices if I use https:// before my ip address, but Live View doesn't work.

Is it possible to deactivate "https" and use "http" as I could before with old firmware 1.3.4? My usage doesn't require a secure connection.

(Currently firmware is 1.5.2)
