tapo C200 firmware update keeps failing
I am trying to update the firmware on my C200, but it keeps failing.
I have sky fibre broadband, not sure if this is causing the issue.

What is the current firmware of the Tapo C200? Is it already 1.0.7? When you try to update the camera firmware, please confirm the connection between the camera and your fiber broadband router is stable, and ensure the camera is connected to the cloud server correctly.

@detacheduk the camera worked until th firm ware update no all I get is fail after fail after fail I work in IT the wifi connection is stable I hav + 200meg internet connection how do It fix this it total crap that fails in 10 minutes after install

Did you also have the problem that Tapo cameras failed to update the firmware, or after the firmware update, the camera was no responsive?
Is there any error message when firmware failed to update?
What is the model number and operating system about your mobile phone and have you already update the Tapo APP to be the latest version?

@detacheduk I am also facing the same issue i bought 3 Tapo c100 and one of them is not updating. Its just reboot and then becomes unreachable time to time.

I have the same issue
I have 4 cameras tapo c200. On two cameras firmware upgrades went well. The other two cameras are stuck at "Firmware updating...". The still persist after factory reset

@itchychy Hello,
From cloud, all of your 4 cameras firmware are up to date with firmware 1.0.17, but 2 of the cameras are offline right now.
You could try to use mobile data and see which camera are offline. It is recommended to reboot the Offline cameras & main router, and see 2 cameras can be Online or not.
If not, please factory reset the offline cameras, put it close to main router, and resinstall them on Tapo app.

Hi - I have a c200. Connection was fine but last night I clicked to update the firmware and it's still updating 12 hours later, if this normal?
