Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.10

Hi,

 

Camera (Tapo app) always notify me (24h/day), however motion alarm is set to 20:00 - 07:00 every day and detection in sheduler is set to Mo-Fr 20:00 - 07:00 and Sa+Su 00:00 - 24:00.

How can I set it to respect plan of motion detection?

 

Second: Can I set different notificacion sound in my mobile phone (Samsung A70 / Android 10) for this alarm (different from other/default sound)?

Hello,

 

Sorry that it is not supported yet to set a notification schedule to decide when you will receive those notifications, but we do have the plan to add this feature in the future updates, please keep an eye on your Tapo app.

 

Currently, we may try with an alternative by enabling the Home Mode and Away Mode on the Tapo app for the camera. You may set different Motion Detection and Notification permissions as per the two modes like you can choose to receive notifications when in Away Mode but don't receive it when in Home Mode.
How to edit Home and Away Mode for Tapo camera?

 

As for the notification sound, it is not supported yet, but it is noted now and we will feedback to the developers, they will evaluate the feasibility.

It is very important to have a louder sound on mobile when motion detection message received. 

Please take this on high priority and do the needful asap.

Hello @Shobha 

Thank you for your feedback. The notification/alert sound volume is decided by phone settings, you may check there is an option to adjust that alert/ notification volume on the phone.
