Some of the Tapo C200 Cameras Keep Disconnecting from Home Wifi and appears to be Offline
Hi
I have 4 tapo C200 cameras installed in my home. All of them have been updated with the latest firmware 1.0.17. I am using Singtel Mesh router with Mesh nodes in all the rooms. Wifi connection are pretty stable in the entire house. There is one standardize SSID which is used for all the 4 cameras and the entire house. I realise that after a few hours, 1 or 2 cameras seems to be suddenly disconnected and appear offline. I have to manually power off and on the camera switch to let it reboot and then it gets connected back to the wifi network again. Can you advise what should I do so that all my 4 cameras will be online 24/7? My mesh router is dual band. Does turning off 5Ghz helps since the cameras can only support 2.4Ghz? Should I use Dynamic or Static IP address? Any router config to prevent disconnection?
Appreciate your help.
Thanks
Kc

@Solla-topee it's a bit too early to conclude that the problem is solved, but so far it's looking good. I use a 4G-router (it is in my cabin), brand ZTE MF 286D. Single mesh? That's Greek to me...

@Magnus-STO Good day Magnus,
You could try to swap the location of 2 Tapo C200 camera and check if the issue with the location.
Can you help save the log file of camera and share the model of router and the information requested so that we could better look into the issue, thank you.
May I know when did purchase this problematic camera and when does the issue start?
I have tried to swap location. Where should I upload/email the log file?
The modells of the router is ASUS RT-AC86U

I haven't received any emails from your technician yet?
This is by far the most unstable product I have ever tried and it goes in the bin now (return period is unfortunately over).
I have tried every conceivable and unlikely ideas/configurations on router and camera, but the end result at best is that it stays online for 4 days and then goes offline indefinately until I either reboot the router or the camera.
Hope you other users have more success with your TAPO's, I am now looking for a better brand.
Best regards
Martin

Sorry for the large delay on my comment. But I wanted to share with all of you, that the issues reported have been gone - either the cloud relay on tp-link side really got more stability or the last firmware (1.1.11) really fixed the issues. Or both.
Nevertheless, we have had no issues for the last weeks anymore with 2 x C200 cameras.

I have the same issue on my 1 week old c200 camera.
Randomly goes offline (light turns amber when offline).
Camera doesn't show up on my connected devices on my router.
Have to use a smart plug to turn off and on to make it back online.
Hardware Version 2
Firmware 1.1.14
It's connected to my 2.4 ghz network (Mode: 802.11 b/g/n mixed)
Turned off "smart connect",parental control, qos ,one mesh on my ax1800 router
Configured the primary dns server to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4
My router details
Can you help me on this issue?I really liked this camera and might as well buy more but if this issue is not solved,i might look for another brand.
I have a diagnose log if somebody needs it for analysis.
Thanks and Regards

I have 4 C210 cameras all with good wifi signal and all latest firmware.
Mostly 3 of them disconnects irregularly.
I will not change Router settings, Tapo should update itself to work with regular wifi settings.
