Hello,

 

I am going soon to move to Japan. New life and new apartment (rental).

I am thinking to get Kasa smart bulbs KL130, but I am having hard time to find a remote dimmer switch (like the one of Philips hue, no cables needed) or a button as well as a movement sensor to use natively with Kasa smart bulbs.

 

I thought about getting samsung smarthings hub, but I am reading around that they might discontinue it, that's why I searching for advice.

Hi,

Would the smart dimmer switch be used to control the KL130 or other normal lightbulbs?

We have one dimmer switch, such as HS220 but since KL130 is not a dimmer bulb which is not compatible with HS220:

As for the movement sensor, we did not have this product yet and it is on the roadmap in the future:

Yes I'm planning to use my phone and voice commands to change colour of the bulb kl130 bit I would like to also have a physical switch to turn on/off.

 

Any solution available at the moment?

Hi,

Normally, the physical switch needs to be turned on all the time so that we could turn on and off via the Kasa APP directly;

As for the voice command, it might need to link with Amazon Alexa, such as:

@TP-Link Thank you for your reply and apologies for not being clear.

I just wanted to know if you have a dimmer switch line Philips Hue Dimmer Switch (with battery) or no?

Also I wanted to know if your switches work with your smart lights. So that I can use the switch and the smart light.
