Model: Tapo C310  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 build 210118 real 58915n (4555)

After latest firmware update the recording has many issues. There is inconsistency between actual and recording time. E.g. the app shows that a recording is during the night but the content shows noon. The same happens when you follow the notification message. The video playing is from another period. 

In general after the update there are lags and timeouts. 

The card has been reformatted and the app updated to latest version. 

Is there any way to downgrade?

Thank you for your valuable feedback.  

Does the time stamp on Live page show the correct time ? If not please go to camera settings and double-check the Time zone for camera. 

Turn off NVR or 3rd party software

Turn off Modem/ router Firewall settings during test

 

Please help provide some details that will help to local the problem:

  1. The photos showing  inconsistency between actual and recording time on Playback & notification message:
  2. Model of your phone & Android or IOS version: 
  3. Version of your tapo app:
  4. Your Network topology : for example router Model archer C7  ))))(( tapo C200 & mobile phone

Thank you for your quick reply. 

It's a bit difficult to explain the situation and I will try my best.

The date and time as well as the timezone are correct.

Most of the recordings are correct. Some of them, without any pattern,  point to a totally different capture (as time is concerned). Seems like corrupt index to me or like some recordings write over previous ones.

This results to losing recordings which may be critical in some cases.

 

Nothing of these happened before the latest camera firmware upgrade. The camera was working fine for about 2-3 months.

No NVR or 3rd party software is used.

 

I attach photos showing the inconsistency as well as a correct recording. 

 

The mobile phone is an iPhone 6s with iOs 14.4.2

Tapo version 2.3.29

Home router is a Speedport Plus from Sercomm and the topology is a simple home network: router - mobile - tapo C310

Please let me know any more details you may need.
