Hello,

 

I installed my Tapo C310 today on Positioning. Its outdoor installed, and the next Plug are Outside. But its near the Water for the Garden. And i confused why the Power Adapter are not Waterproof.

I cant drill a hole into the house and connect it through inside. Thats not possible.

 

So anybody know where i can find a compatible Power Adapter, which had an IP44 Power Plug?

@Denchik  Hello, 

 

Tapo camera has a waterproof seal in the box for the power connectors.  I think you might need a waterproof power socket , rather than a waterproof power cord for camera? 

It is recommended to check if there is any outdoor plug on online stores/ local stores.

i installed the seal. This is not the Problem. I pluged the Camera outside in a Socket. But the whole Poweradapter are not for outdoor use.

@Denchik I see, you mean the head of power adapter is not waterproof. 

Then you will need to look for a third party 9.0V/0.6A (DC Power) outdoor power adapter.

yes i mean the head of the power adapter.

 

I mean its cool that the Camera is Warerproof, but why not the Poweradapter? 
 

i will look up for a third party product, maybe i will find one:)
