Hello,

 

I have found out that the C200 which I wanted to buy uses the PCM G.711 alaw codec which is not well suited for being played on the web.

Does the recently released C210 perhaps support some other, more modern audio codec?

@VasekP. Hello Vašek, 

I'm afraid there isn't a plan for supporting more the audio codec on Tapo camera,  the recorded video of Tapo camera uses G.711 as the standard for audio companding.

You will need to consider the some players which supports G.711 codec such as the VLC on computer or consider the web browser with player which supports G.711.
