Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 11.9Hi

Hi Team,

 

I recently bought Tapo C100 and added 64GB SanDisk memory card. The issue which I am facing is for loop recording.

Current settings are

Loop Recording: Enabled

Quality: 1080P

Recording: Motion Detection only

 

Issue:- Memory card gets full(think so), post that loop recording is not working. Next time, when I open the app, it asks to initialise memory card. When I try to do, it throws error saying Formating Failed. This happened 2 times in past 2 days (product is just 3 days old). Everytime, I will have to climb up, take the memory card out. Format it in phone or other device, then put the memory card back to camera.

I am not sure, why loop recording is not working, also, why it is asking to initialise again when it is full. Any help to fix this issue..

Please confirm both camera firmware and Tapo APP are up to date.

 

May I have a photo of the warning or Error on Tapo app for  formatting SD card or Loop recordings? 
To help isolate the issue, please verify if SD card is Fake (expanded capacity) with H2testw software  as the instruction below and share a photo with the test results  (back up important files before run the test)

@Solla-topee So last time I faced this issue, I rebooted the camera through the app. After that, things are going fine as of now. Didn't encounter the issue post reboot. Will monitor for a month and will update the result accordingly.

So again I got the error, did a reboot and post that it is working fine. Anyway I got opportunity to take the screenshot.

 

Initial Error

When clicked initialise

App Version: 2.4.10

Firmware version: 1.1.9

Hardware version: 2.0

 

Memory card is SanDisk
