Hi,

 

I have a tapo c200 camera. There is a problem recording for 1 month with a 128 GB SD Card inserted. I formatted the SD Card and it didn't work. I tried the SD Card in another device and there is no problem but my tapo c200 camera is not recording.

 

Model of SD Card: Samsung 128GB EVO
Format Type: ExFAT
Model No & MAC Address: Tapo C200 & 3C-84-6A-61-71-25
Hardware Version: 1.0
Software Version: 1.1.11

 

 

The camera only records when MOTION DETECTION is active and motion is detected. It doesn't record when it doesn't detect motion. It should resume normal recording during the period of inactivity.

When I first bought and installed the camera, it was recording CONTINUOUSLY, but now it only records when it detects motion.

I am waiting for solution.

@sabriyasar Hello, 

May I know did you enable Continues Recording for Tapo Camera
On Motion Detection settings,  make sure you have select Continuous Recording and Select All as blue:

As you can see, CONTINUOUS RECORDING is selected, but there is no recording. Because CONTINUOUS RECORDING cannot be done, it only records when motion is detected. In PLAYBACK, I can only go back and look at motion-detected areas. I should be able to look back at the time interval I want in the PLAYBACK section. It was like this when I bought and installed the camera, and when the software update came, this feature disappeared. @Solla-topee

@sabriyasar  Hello, 

Blue area is for Continuous Recording, Orange area is for Detection Recording.  Please click on EDIT on that page-> Select' Continuous Recording' & Select ALL--> it should become all Blue, which means all the time ranges are for continuous recording.

When you select the section you say there is no blue area. Also, I showed you the chapters with arrows above, these chapters are not playing in PLAYBACK. It only shows the recording in the colored area. It says there are no records in the colorless areas.
