Model: Tapo C100

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: Brand new

I have recently purchased a brand-new C 100 camera, powered it up, all lights working, press the add new camera button on the tapo app, camera is blinking red/green as it should, no IP address is picked up from my iPhone , Also run a scan from my iPad, still no IP address is been sent from the camera? I already have one camera running on the tapo app successfully… Is the new camera possibly faulty?

Hello @Mudafuds

Here are some suggestions that may help with the concern:

Try to factory reset camera, connect to Tapo _XX SSID again and check if phone could get an IP address
How to reset my Tapo camera
Turn off VPN or security apps like Lookout etc.
Try a different phone

May I have a photo showing the WiFi is connected, but get no IP address?Can you share the Mac address and SN number of camera to us by private message, we will check further, thank you
