I just bought the camera, it looks cool. I installed an app from the store and started to install the device. During the installation the app wants access to localization and I dont want to allow that. Does anyone know how to install camera without leaking your geo ?

' Location ' permission is required so camera could connect to the cloud server in your area, that also affect some time related settings like sunset/schedule.
If you do not like sharing location, you may allow it during set up, and turn that off after set up, but that see if plug smart device work as usual or not.

However an option to set required options manually would be better. There is no problem to set hours between dusk and dawn or point a region which should be used for cloud storage. This is my home wifi, my phone is private. When I give you my exact location you can map the area. You, your company or anyone does need to know where the camera is being used. It compromise security of the location.
The camera is unpluged and I'm going to throw it away.
